可制造航空发动机的高温涡轮叶片,对振动、燃气腐蚀、应力扭曲、弯曲等复杂应力的耐受能力好。

特性及用途:

特性、用途和相应的固溶强化型铁基合金、时效硬化型铁基合金基本相同。不同之处在于基体的差别。铁基高温合金的基体金属是铁(含铁量约50%左右),含铬量约10%。23%、含镍量约7%一40%;而镍基高温合金的基体金属是镍,镍含量大于50%  由于镍含量的提高,故镍基高温合金比铁基高温合金的热强性高,最高工作温度已达到1050℃左右;但其可切削加工性亦随之变差。同时由于它们都含有大量的镍,不符合我国资源情况,应逐步采用铁基高温合金来代替。
